Monadnock Music is carefully monitoring the state of the Covid-19 virus across our region. For the present, since this year’s Monadnock International Film Festival and The Thing in the Spring have been cancelled, due to the prohibition on large gatherings in the state, our collaborations with those organizations will not take place.
We are taking things one step at a time; our plan is to proceed with the summer's program of Village Concerts and the Jim Bolle Memorial concert of Beethoven’s Ninth as scheduled and hope things will be under control by then. If circumstances do not permit us to proceed as normal, we will do what we can to modify our plans with the health and safety of our performers and audience members foremost in our minds.
We will need your support more than ever through these trying times for all arts organizations. Our fervent wish is that we will be able to proceed with our concerts and fund raising events this summer; however, should that prove not to be the case, please know that any tickets purchased in advance for this summer’s programs will be fully refundable should we be unable to present them. In the meantime, please check out our "Music in the Time of Quarantine" series through Monadnock Music at Home.
